why didnt you ask your doctor that question?
you dont have a hiv concern...move on to the appropriate forum.
Just saw another Dermatolgoist, said possible but not sure. Took a cut off a tissue sample of what is a possible cluster. How reliable are tissue samples?
anxiety related concerns should be addressed on the anxiety forum here at medhelp.
you do NOT have a hiv concern.
I would completely agree, except for I fear the sex worker may have been shedding as she had hair on the vagina(a friend who frequents this particular massage parlor they are always shaved). There fore I would not see any lessions on her. Also it appeared to be uncomfortable for her, which is odd because unfortuantly for me I'm not well endowed. The doc im seeing is a gp and when I showed him part of the red spot he said it appeared to be a slight lession but wasnt sure if herpes,(gave me valtrex just in case) told me to see a dermatoligist, derm said not sure but didnt take a culture said lessions was not pronounced enough. I took the valtrex but realize now i should not hav to see if the symtpoms worsened so i could have been more sure. I honestly am not worried so much about my health but that of my second partner who I love dearly. I told her part of the indesctrion but left out the fear of herpes part. I would much rather not tell her but if i do i would like it to be before she had any symptoms herself. I have had hsv-1 for 10 years so ive read and new hsv-2 infection may take longer to develop an be less severe in this instance. If god forbid I have acquired hsv-2, how long would it be for her to notice syptoms assuming no prior hsv-1? Is a blood test this week at 4 weeks going to be at all reliable? I just wish my md would have told me to abstain till 100% sure. I think good advice for anyone who has had a questionable encounter is to abstain for 4-6 weeks just to be 100% sure. I severly question my intelligence and morale character at this point and feel completely worthless. Anyone reading this DONT HAVE SEX WITH SEX WORKERS!! DONT LIE TO YOUR LOVED ONES ABOUT INDESCRETIONS!!.
Lizzie hit it on the head with this one, you were not at risk from vaginal intercourse, as you wore protection. Smart thinking. You appear to be worried, though, about what happened after the intercourse, specifically, your hand touching your penis after you touched the condom.
Well, you will be happy to know, same answer: not a risk. Not even a little risk. Based on your description of events, you were not at risk of contracting HIV in this way, and thus, you have no need to worry now about having caught HIV. That must be a relief!
Keep using condoms for vaginal and anal intercourse, and you will not need to worry about HIV, just as you have no need to worry about it now.
may i ask you a question? WHY did you use protection?
was it to PROTECT yourself?
there's your answer :)
