ANTIBODY WILL DIE WHEN MIX UP WITH AIR?

I have a exposure last 4 months ago..sex with csw unprotected..

i got my 4 months negative test by elisa..

the nurse took a blood in me and put in the testubem and testtube is open and mix up with the air..

my question..

1. elisa is looking for the antibody?
2. antibody will die when it mix up with air?

please answer so i can calm my self..

1. my 4th month negative hiv1/2 elisa test is conclusive even though the blood is exposed in the air for 14 hours?
