Testing question that hasn't been asked before... help me out

So after a big risk I waited 94 days and got tested. Came back negative (great right?) well I'm having some doubt and plan on going to get re-tested tomorrow at some point in time. I got tested with the OraQuick test, and after just casually watching some youtube videos, the guy who did my test didn't check for the absorbent pack. They say that if the absorbent pack isn't there, then to discard that test and use another and he just had me take the test out, and threw the pack away and proceeded to give me the worst what he called "counselling" ever for that 20 minutes making me feel real uncomfortable. Either way, it could or couldn't have been in there and I'm not a worry well, I just want to be extra sure everything is done correct, especially something as serious as this. So with all that said, would the test be considered faulty if the absorbent pack isn't in there? Someone let me know... thanks.

last question... so it really wouldn't matter if the absorbent pack was in there or not (even though it is advised to discard the pack if the absorbent pack isn't present) as long as the testing device worked?

Incorrect, you would still get the control like. Had there not been a control line then the test would be invalid.

So hypothetically speaking, if you stuck the testing device inside the solution without a blood or oral sample no line would appear?

Your test was conclusive. Had the test not work they wouldn't have had a control line and the test would have been discarded.

Teak, I'm not questioning the reliability of a 94 day test as I know it is conclusive, I'm just going by the information from this video around the 6:15-6:18 minute mark where it talks about the absorbent pack because I don't recall one being dumped out the bag and if it wasn't therefore the test wasn't performed right according to the training video and I was just wondering if present or not, if the test would be reliable even if the absorbent pack wasn't inside the package. Either way, I am going to go get tested again tomorrow and check myself and all that...

That is totally incorrect. You have a conclusive negative test result.
