i had Candida Balanitis on my penis while having an encounter with a guy. I was reading on another site that having Candida Balanitis " Inflammation of the glans and prepuce may also provide a route for the acquisition of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) " I'm really scared about that, is that true?

Normally when they say, the symptoms stays for 1-2 weeks, lets say if someone has fever, the fever stays for 1-2 week or the fever goes up and down during the day? Is it possible that the symptomes stays for -3-4 days?

teak you think all these symptoms are related? i`m really scared at the moment. I don`t think it is anxiety because i wasn`t thinking about the encounter before all the symptoms and they all started 10 days after

i got alot of symptoms that left me worrying, these are the symptoms i got : sore throat, rashes on neck and face, crazy fatigue, lymph node were swell, i had night sweat and also chills, and at night i would be freezing at some point. My legs were very tired too. I had nausea, after eating, i felt like throwing up. That leave me thinking all day and i'm really scared, i can't wait to 3 mont passes. Maybe it's a coincidence but i don't understand why all these are hapening. i didn;t change my routine or no one is sick around me.

No HIV risk is no HIV risk. You just wouldn't get it from there, that simple.

Teak, i have written to  Edward W Hook, MD and i told him that i had symptoms.... he replied
'if your symptoms were due to HIV your blood test would be positive a week after the symptoms began'

That means that if the test is negative, those symptoms was not from vih? i tought it takes 3 month to know the status.
