Need some advice!?! HIV and PEP

Hello,
So just over 3 weeks ago I was incredibly drunk and made the insanely stupid mistake of having unprotected insertive anal intercourse with a transsexual escort. Just after the act, I realized what I had done. I asked the CSW if she knew her status and she said she was negative (I know that doesn’t mean anything and is almost discomforting because if she is she is most likely not on ARVs). Anyways I rushed to the hospital and was put on PEP at a maximum of 3 hours post exposure (truvada and raltegravir). I have taken the pills without missing any doses. At 3 weeks post exposure the lymph nodes in my neck swelled up slightly and I felt a tiny bit feverish. Checking my temperature rectally though revealed it was always in the 37s. These strange symptoms lasted only 2 days...could this be ARS? I don’t really have a specific question just looking for advice and some thoughts on PEP efficacy. Also when can I do an RNA test post-pep? Do you guys think I should or just wait for a antibody test at 4 weeks post-pep? Thank you

You can take a duo at 6 weeks post PEP although some say you can do it at 4 weeks. HIV doctors can't diagnose from symptoms so neither you nor I can either, so you should stop analyzing your body and try to relax until you can test. Can you get her to test, and if so then a duo at 4 weeks after your encounter will give you the answer if she is negative.

Thanks for the answer. You think I have a very good chance of coming out of this ok?
No definitely won’t be able to get her to test...
Only a test can determine the answer because there are unknown variables. I would focus on the fact you don't know her status and assume it is negative until you get the result so you can be more relaxed for the next 5 weeks while you wait.
