Negative?

Over 2 years ago I had a drunken one night stand with a high risk person which I think was protected for the entire time but I was drunk and as time has gone on I have forgotten even more about that night. I tested with biosure (uk certified self test) at 1 year and at 2 years after the encounter. Both negative. Can I trust these results or should I get a lab test done? My anxiety is killing me. Thanks

You mentioned this being a certified self test.
If you are comfortable you followed all instructions correctly and the reputation of who tested your sample is not questionable, then this sounds conclusive.

If no to any of the above then follow RubyWitch's advice.

Sometimes we suggest late tests more for the peace of mind of the concerned, not for the fear their test was inconclusive.

You used a certified product and should be trusted after the window period.
Was this done in a clinic or hospital setting?
They should have informed you that your test was conclusive.
The rapid blood test by clearview stat pak states in the DOCs, if you had no risk in the prior 3 months of using this product and you test negative, your results are conclusive and you do not have HIV.
This proves the reliability of certified rapid blood tests.

As RubyWitch said, "You obviously have some doubts, so for your peace of mind, get a lab test."

If you still have doubts, have a professional blood draw.
This is over 2 yrs ago and it still concerns you.

Thank you for your reply. No it wasn't done in a hospital, it's an at home self test.

Personally I would have a blood drawn lab test for 100% conclusive results. You obviously have some doubts, so for your peace of mind, get a lab test.

Thank you for your reply. Can I ask why you replied to someone who took an oraquick mouth swab to say they were conclusively negative but think the biosure rapid blood test should be confirmed? Is oraquick more reliable?
