I just need an opinion on me symptoms. After I had sex with a girl and the condom broke, I immediately pulled out as soon as we noticed which was only a second or two. 4 weeks to the day later I came down with a cough. It was a wet cough and I was constantly having to clear my throat of mucus and such. I'll list off the rest to make it easier:
- wet cough for 2 weeks
- mild daily headaches lasting upwards of 2 weeks. They were very mild and went away rather quickly.
- a pimple on my lip
- a small canker sore that went away within a day
- After reading about HIV symptoms, 2-3 bouts of light headedness in a 24 hours period
- My face had some pins and needles for a minute or so one night after a few drinks (that hasn't happened in years)
- lower back pain... although it went away after I stretched it out properly at the gym for 20 minutes
- A bout of diarrhea about 2 weeks before the rest of these... it only lasted a few hours
- Unexplained tiredness 2 nights around the same time as the diarrhea. It was past 11:30 both nights, but I usually stay up later than that and I really can't remember what I did those days, so it could be from gym activity or early mornings in general.
A side note, I've been under a lot of stress from other things as well.
I know it's a lot of separate things, and they didn't all happen at the same time either (2 week gap). The most serious issue was the wet cough and the persistent headaches which occurred more when I was coughing. Is a wet cough a symptom? And how long do most symptoms generally last? Is a bout of diarrhea and 2 nights of being tired too little?
I've had no fever, no rash, my lymph nodes were not tender or swollen to my knowledge, I had no sore throat, and no night sweats.
Is it just my anxiety getting to me? I have a feeling that after reading the symptoms of HIV, the lightheadedness and face pins and needles were brought on by anxiety, but I'd just like a secondary opinion if possible.
I do plan on getting tested, I'd just like to calm my nerves with re-assurance that my anxiety is causing me to stress and what I've been experiencing don't match up with HIV symptoms.
Thanks a million.
