Night Sweats

Good Evening,

Not looking for a diagnoses here, I just want a better understanding of night sweats and HIV. Yes yes I'm typical person on here, I had unprotected sex and no I don't have the typical ARS symptoms which doesn't matter anyway.I'm having night sweats periodically though, like twice every 3 months for the past year and half. I'm not sure if its related to stress/anxiety because I've been stress for a while b/c of work and personal life. I've had CBC done twice and all in normal range, STDS done (except HIV) all negative, and pap done and all negative, just wanted to give some back history, I know this means nothing for the HIV test. To my understanding nights sweats are a product of a fever, right? Can you have night sweats without a fever? If so would non-fever night sweats relate to HIV still? Also how do you know if your having a fever at night? in the past when I had a night sweat, I would just wake up because I'm wet usually around my neck and chest area, I don't feel like I had fever. I remember in the past when I got tested for HIV I got so stressed I was having night sweats, test turned out to be negative. Yes I know I need to get tested and I will, I just want to understand night sweats in general.

Thanks!

Symptoms or lack of will not tell you anything about HIV. Just night sweats has nothing to do with HIV. And for the last year and half has nothing to do with HIV.

If you have not tested then test.

Your response is pretty short and vague. Would you explaining your statement? Would you mind answering my questions about night sweats?
