Oral tests and HIV from Kissing

Ok, so if they do oral tests to find out if you got HIV, does that not mean that one give HIV by kissing someone? Is not HIV in saliva? How can the test detect it in Saliva if the virus is not in it? Thanks so much for you help.

No way to catch hiv from kissing, zilch, zero, never. If there was, we would have a huge epidemic on our hands for sure.

Guess what? Of course I've heard of the!m I've had those too before! I get them a lot between mi thighs. Ever since I was a kid my thighs rubbed to each other producing these pea-sized zits. Sometimes they are as superficial to let me squeeze them out, sometimes they aren't and just hurt. They go away by themselves, though. I've also had them in my armpits and hurt like crazy!

Don't give yourself a bad time... that's all they are! Just big zits! Listen to your doctor as he knows better than you and I.

Hope this helped.

thanks, but this girl I kissed, now says that she has a subacious (sp?) zit under a arm. I had them during what I thought was my post-exporsure. They hurt like cracy, and they just under the skin, pea size, and the go away within a day or two; she has the exact same thing I did. When I checked with doctor, three times, he said that they are all zits; and they developed when your weat glands get blocked. Have you heard of them? Please answer guys!

Hey there Gonka!

Ease up! The oral tests aren't looking for the virus itself but for the antibodies that your inmune system produces to fight the virus.

Urine doesn't carry virus and there are also HIV urine tests.

Hope this helped.
