A little freaked out

So about two and a half weeks ago I had anal with a man both top and bottom no protection. I bottomed for about 1 minute and I topped for about 3 minutes. Neither of us ejactulated or even came close. The guy I did it with is a guy I know very well. He is in a serious relationship with a man and I am married to a woman. Before and after the sex I asked him of he was tested and clean. Both times he said he was and tested the week before. A few days later I asked him a few more times if he is HIV negative and he said he is fine and I am fine and I'm just freaking out. I asked him if it was safe to have sex with my wife again he responded yes. After that text I've still been freaking out about the situation. He will not respond at all to me. Should I believe this guy or should I really be freaking out about him possibly lying to me? Any help would be great. When is the soonest I could test? I can't sleep at night and am panicking a lot.
Thank you

Update. Tested negative on an RNA test 24 days post exposure. This after he said he was negative. Can I trust the negative result?

Just finally talked to the guy. He insists he is hiv negative. I'm still getting tested tomorrow but that is a good sign seeing that he said he is clean.

And isn't it against the law to lie that you are negative if you are knowingly positive?

While it's more likely that he's NOT infected than he IS, he was willing to have unprotected sex with you, which raises alarm bells for me.....what if he has other partners, and does the same things?  It would be nice to be able to take everyone at their word, but you know how that goes.

You've been around this forum long enough to know what IS a risk and what isn't...you had a risk, bottom line.  Having unprotected anal sex with another man is one of the more riskier behaviors in regards to HIV.  That being said, I wouldn't classify your encounter as over the top high, but a risk all the same.

You can test at 4 weeks with a DUO, that will be conclusive.  I wouldn't recommend having unprotected sex with your wife until you do.  If your wife does not know that you're bisexual and have been having encounters with men all of these years, it's not fair to put her at risk.....she cannot make an informed decision about her OWN risk if she doesn't have full disclosure about YOUR sexual history, you know?  That's not any kind of judgement either, just something to think about.

IN the future, you should ALWAYS use condoms for anal sex.  Religiously.
