well i think what lizzie said does happen sometimes, but since this is an open forum without rules of who can reply to any message the matter is a mute point, if the powers to be want to appoint people that can only respond like on aidsmeds than that would be okay but like i said since this is an open forum . people will tend to feed off of each other fears whether they reply or not, this is only my opinion and doesnt really amount to anything.

but dont you think that alot of times the worried wells just feed off each other?  i have seen soo many ppl since i have been here...read other posts with incorrect information...soon finding a NEW problem to worry about.  i have seen the ppl that have posted for months...finally test...say their goodbyes, but return within a week, only to want to "help" others.  these ppl that come back to "help"...tend to fall right back into their anxiety driven trap.  they read, and read, and soon they believe that there test wasnt conclusive...wasnt performed correctly...didnt test for this group or that group.  it is a vicious cycle.  it is my opinion that these ppl should move on...staying on the forum to "help" others...only fuels the fire of hiv anxiety.

i dont think its as much as giving advice out as it is knowing someone is going through the same thing you are, i tested neg way past the window 4 times , i still ocd about it , and knowing that someone else is thinking in that irrational way , you tend to know what that person is feeling. dont want to offend anyone but i think i know after 20 years of dealing with hiv on a volunteer basis alot about transmission and testing. that doesnt mean it helps me personally, lol.
