Hiv exposure blood

Hi guys I recently had an encounter with a lady where I fingered her and after saw that my fingers had blood on them. Didn’t see any major cuts had a small cut on one finger. Just wondered if that blood could have infected me with hiv. Went to a doctor who said that I should be fine. I will appreciate any comments regarding this situation. Fingered her for quite some while before I saw blood. I don’t know the lady’s status. I did was my hands after. Help please

HIV can not penetrate through intact skin. Your risk never existed. You are fine
