You're welcome.
During my career working in hospitals, 99.9% of needle stick "accidents" happened in the ER during EXTREME emergency procedures to save lives.
If you have a "special" fear of needle sticks, I would advise you work outside the ER.
Even if your worst fear where to happen, you would immediately be assessed by the HIV/AIDS risk team of doctors who would decide if you needed to begin PEP treatment.
Don't let this fear stop you from the most rewarding career you can imagine.
If you are going to be studying for a career in the healthcare field, you will be taught all of this in your classes.
As a retired healthcare professional myself, I can appreciate your concern, but I can also reassure you that the risks are extremely minimal.
I wish you the best in your career.
