Question about Vaginal intercourse and transmission

Is there any stats or risk information about a one time vaginal unprotected event.  I'm a male and would like to know if there are stats or risk information.  Status unknown.

Thank you

NUMBERS dont tell one's status.

test at the appropriate time.

As I have been told too "
if the other partner was hiv pos , then the risk is 1 in about 1 -2000
However you do not know if she was or not, usually 1 in 1000 of the general population are.
Unprotected insertive vaginal sex male to female has a transmission rate of less than one in a million statistically, however, statistics are not as good for prevention as a condom."

then go and get your self tested dude. 6-8 weeks post exposure is to know your status. 3 months is conclusive. Just to fill you in, unprotected vaginal sex is at low risk though still a risk so you need to get a test.

We don't deal with numbers here. We say a risk is a risk and test.
