Rapid test three weeks after exposure.

Hello, I will keep it simple, I really don't feel like talking too much.

My last hiv test was in april, six weeks after my condon broke when I was topping. It was a 4rth generation one and it came as negative. I have no doubts about that test because it was in a well reowned lab, expensive and I no longer was on windows period.

Following that, I have NOT had any anal or vaginal sex, not unprotected or protected, except for two events three weeks ago.

- A hickey in which I'm not sure my gums bled or his skin did.
- Unprotected oral sex in a sauna when I had a lil bit of bleeding gums and had brushed my teeth three hours ago, with a guy of -mostly due to his behaviours- is likely to be hiv+.

I know I have been told I was at no risk, but I can't take it off my mind. Thats why I'm asking, IS A RAPID HIV TEST RELIABLE AFTER THREE WEEKS for a mostly healthy 19 year old guy?

* Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusively negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to action by MedHelp. Conclusively negative results or a no-risk situation will be based upon the criteria established by MedHelp’s doctors. Action will be taken as follows:
    * After excessive posting, a warning will be issued by MedHelp
    * Continuing to post regarding the negative result / no risk situation will result in a 3 day suspension
    * Continuing to post upon your return will result in a permanent ban.

I'm no expert but many of the people who are on this site will tell you Oral Sex does not put you at risk for HIV. Furthermore throwing yourself into hysteria does not help the situation (I've been there before trust me). Calm down and go see your physician. If your really paranoid and the only way that you can calm yourself is by getting tested then wait the 3 more weeks until you hit the 6 week period. If you want to follow that up with one at the 12 week mark.
