Follow up to Original Post

Good Morning Everyone!

I'm just a worry wort while I wait for my test date to come up, (which is soon).  To summarize my original post, I have had numerous oral encounters, which are no risk.  I've also been with 5 guys, 4 of which I have been able to contact online and they are clean, one guy I couldn't track down.   All but 1, the first, wore a condom.  And that was around 6 or 7 years ago.

The reason for today's question is, my last anal encounter was in early march.  He wore a condom, but I noticed that it slipped off inside of me, which I didn't notice until a few hours later during a routine bathroom visit. I've since talked to him, and he assures me he is clean.

in mid july I got a really bad sore throat, with a really high fever, but no rash.  Just before this, I was on a trip for work, where in the course of a week, I was on 3 planes, drank heavily every night, and one night, even did MDMA.  This is what I believe lead to me getting sick, but can ARS show up 4 months later?  My anxiety is at an all time now as I have been having muscle aches, and some quick pain in my thighs, lower back, chest, arms, legs, groin and neck.  No swollen or sore lymph nodes in any of these areas, I'm quite sure it's mostly in the muscle or nerves.   But what do you guys think my risk would be in this?

Thanks,

Mildlyconcerned guy

This I know, and I'm going to do.  How accurate are the over the counter tests?  I might just go and do one of those.  I know its mostly anxiety at this point, as I only had 2 instances in 10 years that could be considered a risk, this being the last and most recent one, the other one I was tested for between the two.  So this is literally the only exposure that might have caused it.  I appreciate you looking out for me vance, on this and on my last post.

Symptoms mean nothing wehn it comes to HIV. You had a risk as yo know and should test.

Which I am going to do next month at my annual check up.  I was just looking for some input on the risk assessment here, and then the relationship between the subsequent illness.

That exposure was back in March.  The illness happened in mid July.
