Risk Assessment?

Hello,

I am currently at the 19 day mark of having unprotected vaginal and attempted anal for a few seconds with a girl I know (I don't think I ever actually inserted anally, just drunkenly attempted to). I was in her vagina for a couple seconds tops. The whole act lasted for no more than 15-20 seconds before stopping knowing we shouldn't without a condom. This is a girl I know and she said back sometime in May she had a full panel test done and it came back negative in terms of HIV and not to worry. I currently don't have any ARS symptoms like fever, sore throat, or anything like. However I have had sore muscles and diarrhea which I believe may be due to the antibiotic Ciprofloxacin I have been on. I am still have anxiety because I never have unprotected risky sex like that. What say you guys?

Well, it depends what test you had done

Thank you, James. I was not aware that length of penetration factored into it. Are panel tests usually pretty accurate as well? She hasn't had sex since her results came back.

Well, you certainly didn't have a high risk if the penetration was brief.
It's very unlikely you become positive over this. If you are concerned, take a DUO test at 28 days.

I should also mention that a couple days after, my testicles started to hurt a little bit. I have since had two chlamydia and gonareha tests which came back negative with no bacteria shown.
