Possible hiv infection?

About 2 weeks ago I had a needle stick exposure and pricked myself with another students neeedle while in school for medical assisting. I seen a doctor and he told me it was a very low risk exposure. I am still concerned for hiv because after 2 weeks I developed oral thrush which surprisingly seems to dissapear after the first day of taking nystatin. Her results were negative for hiv although she told me she had unproteced sex a week ago before my exposure to her needle. Could this be a symptom of ars? I seen a doctor who said I didn't have oral thrush and it was probably mucous from my allergies but today I seen a different doctor who said I had it. Please give me your insight on this. Thanks

Your hospital undoubtedly has an infectious disease protocol. Talk to them.  Follow whatever they suggest.

Well that's what happened was I injected myself with her used needle. It was a tb needle. And I know she is weird and assumes the guy she has been with is clean. So she doesn't feel like any testing was necessary.

But no I didn't inject whatever was in the needle into me I just poked my finger with the needle and my finger bled a bit. I instantly rinsed my hands off with warm water and soap.
The instant air inactivation should make any HIV at the tip inactivated. So I wouldn't worry, while waiting since you plan to test at 28 days. Maybe someone who knows more will comment here too.

Everyone thinks they have ARS here, but no one does, so the best policy is don't let your imagination think of this. If you didn't inject when you pricked that might make zero chance of transmission, because HIV is instantly inactivated in air so I am guessing the end of the needle blood would be inactivated.
Can you get her to test 28 days after her unprotected exposure with a 4th generation test? Or maybe her encounter guy can test for you?
No one here pays attention to symptoms for the reasons you outlined that they can be from anything, so prove nothing.

I doubt she or he would do that for me. My best bet is just me going to get the test done again. Please pray for me. Seen a infectious disease doctor who said I did not have oral thrush and my chances of hiv are really really low. He told me to just go get tested in another week for peace of mind.
I can't imagine why she wouldn't test for her own self, if she had an unprotected. I required a test before having relations with any partner, so I would think her future partners would want one too.

Did you accidentally inject yourself too when you pricked yourself? Otherwise you can't get HIV anyway.
