Dear doctrs,
On 21/6 i had sexual intercourse with a sex worker. It was protected vaginal intercourse but i did performed unsafe cunnilingus. At that time, i was having sore throat. It not the first time as i was having throat infection earlier in the end of May.
I checked with my doctor on the 27/6 and find out that i once again had throat infection.i was prescribed with antibiotic and the infection go away within 10 days. However,I known that performing oral sex with throat infection would increase the risk. This really worried me therefore i took a HIV and STD test on the 18/7.
By 25/7 my result came back with all negative. However, the throat infection came back and this time there are whitish spots on my tonsil, fever, fatigue, sleeplessness, muscle pain and a small lymph node gland on my armpit. I understand that there is a window period therefore i will take HIV test again by the end of September. However i want to ask would I be facing high risk with infection? I am panic right now and waiting until September to test again. Please advice.
Thanks
