SIV, stHIV-1 Mike teak?

In 2009, Scientists created stHIV-1 which is capable of infecting monkeys. Suppose a human contracts stHIV-1 or SIV, will he test positive on the standard HIV test?

It's said the scientists altered a gene in HIV to create stHIV-1. How can we be sure that people have not altered HIV like those scientists? meaning new undetectable forms of HIV can be formed by altering HIV gene.

Will all altered forms of HIV ( any virus that destructs the human immune system ) test positive on the standard HIV antibody test?

You don't need to worry about it! Your not going to come across anything like that, and just "always" use condoms! Don't share needles for drugs again either!

Pardon me for sounding stupid.

If science could alter HIV, wouldn't you think there would be a cure...Your talking about science and monkeys?
