Unprotected sexual acts are the Prime reasons to contract HIV or any other STD. Most people more than 95% plus of the human populace would test +ve if they had contracted the virus by about 6 weeks but dealing with HIV one should not take any COMPLACENCY TEST at 3months  for a final conclusive result also test for other STDs like HBV HAV SYPHIIS, HERPIS etc as u had an unprotected encounter U have really risked your life. For the most of it ur status would not change but the next time the dice may not roll in ur favor. Sex outside marriage / other than ur spouse  these are the primal reasons with a lot of humans contracting these diseases. SAVE URSELF AND OTHERS.

you can test now for a good indication of your status...but follow it up at 3 months for a conclusive result.  a test at 2 months is highly unlikely to change.

you should be worried...not because of your symptoms...but because you had unprotected sex.  symptoms are never a good indicator of one's status due to the fact that these same symptoms are related to many other illnesses.
