hiv oral

Hello Sirs,

Can I get an answer from a doctor please? on July 22nd I visited  a Sauna on Cyprus and I gave oral to a massage guy the hiv status of whom is totally uknown to me.I am a bi curious man and I NEVER had anal sex in my life. The oral with this guy lasterd for less than a minute (no ejacuation). I believe there were no sores on my mouth but cannot be 100pc sure. After 4 days i started experiencing mild fever, sore throat and swallen lymph glands. Are all thee early symptoms of hiv? Do i need to get tested? I visited my GP and he believes that these semptoms are due to viral flu. I am panicking. Pls advise

Teak given te fact that i might have had a cold or a flu during the oral, does this increase my HiV risk?
If the guy was 100 pc positive would you get tested?

HIV is not transmitted by oral sex and no you do not need testing.

Would you get tested for hiv if this was your only exposure?

You have to ask those websites. There is always debate about oral being a risk but the science and studies done show it is not a risk.

Even if you had a risk the symptoms started to soon to be linked to HIV.

Hi Vance

Why so many websites claim the opposite?
Do you think that thesymptoms i have are a coincidence?

If you want a Dr's answer then you have to pay and post in the expert forum.

Free answer is you did not have a risk, oral sex is not a risk.
