Sharing Snorting Gear

I recently had an experience that has caused me to be concerned a little. I was at a party and shared a bank note to snort cocaine with three friends of mine. It was only once and each person did one line. As it was out of my character, I of course looked up the health risks the next day and was surprised that you may be able to catch HIV this way. I looked through some of the older posts (not many to the docs) and did not see any past 2009. It seemed the doctors really were unsure, sometimes they would recommend testing, other times they would say zero risk and no need for testing which confused me.Most of the prevention sites list it as negligible and I don't think there has been any documented cases.  Has anything changed since any of these older posts on the risk and does it warrant any testing? I am guessing since there hasn't been a post on this in quite some time, it is not to much of a worry but I just wanted to make sure as to not put my family at risk.

Thanks for the quick reply, so much contradictory information out there that can sure cause confusion and anxiety. Other than this site, is there a good site that a person can look at for prevention and how it is passed for educational purposes?

You never had a risk and don't need testing for HIV.
