Should I use pep?

I stupidly has vaginal sex  with an indoisian sex worker. The condom split. I need to decide if I take pep today as the window will close. I am unable to get her tested now. I am concerend about the side effects for such a powerful drug as there only seems to be negative feedback online and as I am currently in Malaysia so it's difficult for me to get reliable medical advice.  Please would someone let me know about there views on me starting the treatment as I am starting to panic. Many thanks.

vaginal sex is not high risk, but  there are factors that would make it more or less possible for hiv to enter.
do you have hsv2 or other infection going down there?
are you on certain drugs like Meth?
how long was your exposure?

no body wants to play doctor with some one else health.
maybe some details and some of the experts may decide to take a stave at your case i am not an expert.

maybe this is something you should talk with your doctor.

So you do not believe that take it the drug is correct as I am extremely worried both about hiv and the effects of the drug as I have very little medical advice. What is the rough probability I have contracted it?

I am surprised nobody answered you yet.
Post Exposure Prophylactic treatment is usually only administered to people who had a high risk exposure with a KNOWN carrier. The side effects can be quite severe.
Although your exposure was real, your risk (overall) was low. A one time, single, brief exposure rarely leads to infection.
