Should I worry or test?

Hello,

I have a question regarding possible exposure to HIV. Wondering if I should worry or get tested for the following,

1. Today I followed someone up a ladder while working and noticed he was bleeding, I didn’t think much of it at that time, I dropped something on the roof and instantly went down the ladder to go pee. After peeing I sanitized my hands and I went right back up the ladder, while I was climbing up I noticed a bunch of blood on the sides of the ladder and then thought “I had to have touched that on the way down and then touched my underwear and penis with my hands that just touched blood. Now worrying that the blood got inside my penis from my hands or it rubbing on underwear. How much of a risk is this? How long to I need to wait before I test?

2. Yesterday another guy had a bleeding finger and he was loading nails into the nail gun. About 2 minutes later I deeply scratched my arm on one of the nails that was sticking out. If his blood was on that nail what would my risk of infection be?

Thank you for your help

The only risks for HIV in adults are:
1) Having unprotected (no condom) penetrative anal or vaginal sex, OR
2) Sharing IV drug equipment with other IV drug users.

No other event that you can think of, including the event you mentioned, puts you at risk for HIV.  There is no need to ask about other events.

Reread because the science doesn't change. Your questions indicate hiv fixation which requires a mental health therapist if you still think you had a risk.
