Slight anal penetration - am I at risk?

Hi there,

So this is really embarrassing. I had my first same sex encounter a week ago. We were messing around and one thing led to another. He was grinding his penis against my anus and without asking tried to slide it in! For one thing it was painful but it wouldn't have gone in far - if at all! I'm now terrified I will have contracted an STI...there was no pre-cum as far as I'm aware!

Apologies for the graphic content!

Many thanks!

If anyone ever sees this just to share with you my results. I tested negative at 8 weeks and negative at 13 weeks! It’s been a rollercoaster of a few months but it’s finally over!

Stay strong people! Live well and always be careful! Thanks to everyone at Medhelp for all their support they give to everyone!

I've just found someone else with a similar occurrence on your forum...

"I am a hetoralsexual male that had a brief first time sexual encounter with a male transexual. He was rubbing his penis, NO CONDOM, against my anus, and then tried to insert his penis into my anus without asking me..

There was slight penetration, 1/4 inch? for about one second or so before I stopped it. Painful, but I did not see any blood or semen"

This is almost identical to me and someone's answer was there was no risk at all...is this true?

Again, many thanks!

No penetration = no risk.  IF you feel that there was any penetration, you are at super-slight risk and should just test for peace of mind.

4th generation at 28 days or beyond will be conclusive - it's the Ab/Ag test.  Other tests are conclusive at 90 days.

Only you or he can tell if there was penetration. Are you able to contact him to find out?
If you can't figure it out, then you can take a duo test after 28 days from the episode, or get him tested if you know he has passed his 28 day window period from his last unprotected anal.
Oral is not a risk, so if this was also his first anal he won't have HIV.

It wouldn't have gone in. There was no pre-cum he only pushed it against my anus...
