Even with skin irritated or pealed?
Do you recommend me any testing?
Thank you
You were never at risk of contracting HIV. HIV is not transmitted outside its host.
Lizzie lou or anyone else?
I would like to have your wise opinion,
Thanks
No risk of the describe scenario.
My understanding is that semen would have to be in contact with an open, bleeding cut. Surface contamination, according to the Dr.'s on this forum is very rare. When cuts, abrasions nicks occur, they start healing from the inside, thus rendering susceptible cells out of reach for HIV. There is a school of thought that says that once HIV is outside of the body and exposed to changes in light, temperature and ph it looses it's infectious qualities. Infection occurs in either anal or vaginal intercourse, or intravenous needles. As these did not occur, the actual chance of getting HIV is ver low, perhaps you would be the first to get the disease this way. Ask a doctor, don't take my word for it.
Unless the area between your legs was somehow open, as in had skin tearing, you're probably fine. The fever and throat pain could be because of your allergy with some antibodies (as a result of your allergy) lingering in your blood stream.
On the other hand, if you know that he had his semen on his fingers as he was fingering you, it might be reason for concern. However, ARS rarely occurs 1 week after infection- It will occur 2-6 weeks after said infection, and will also have an non-itching rash affect your face and torso. Additionally, the fever and throat pain would accompany the swelling of the lymph nodes as well as muscle pain- in all, this would last for a week to two weeks.
Since you have it just starting today, wait it out, gargle salt water, get some rest- chances are it's from a different source. Most importantly, don't jump to conclusions.
