"Stealthing" HIV risk

I had sex last night. I am female, my partner was male. During sex, I noticed he had removed the condom. I am not sure how long we had sex without a condom, but once I noticed, I said to stop. He claims that he was tested, and is negative for all STD's, but now I'm really worried. What are the risks of getting hiv from this?

Seriously, dude taking off the condom during sex does not deserve another chance to EVER be with you.  That's BS.  I'm sorry that happened.  Unfortunately, he put you at risk if you had penetrating intercourse without a condom.  You'll have to test. But with regards to HIV, one time unprotected sex is a very low risk of less than 1 percent transmission.  Wait until 28 days post exposure and take a 4th generation DUO test.  I fully expect it to be negative but you had a risk so have to do it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question, I really appreciate it! I will take the test in 28 days for sure. Your response helped calm my nerves, so thank you!

I was very disturbed that he would do that, and definitely won’t be seeing him again.
I'm glad I could help.  Just stay busy and remember the actual risk is extremely low and the odds are such that you will not get HIV from this.
What GR said but I think the concerning factor for this is the removal of the condom. Stealing, in most countries is considered a crime. Im not saying to report it or not, but something to certainly think about.
Stealthing sorry
