Still scared!

Hello, so here is my story: back in 2011 i had sex with a sex working and my condom broke. I had a HIV test done after 2 months (don't know which generation) i live on Kazakhstan. Which was negative. I took a 2nd test after 4 months, 3rd test at 8 months and 4th at 13 months. They were all negative. Now that its 2014 i sometimes fear that maybe those tests were false negatives and i am living with HIV without knowing...

Could a person be living with HIV for 3 years and not knowing about it?

You have WAY over tested.  Get some help for your irrational worries.  You conclusively do not have HIV.

Usually people find out about hiv after they suffer from some opurtunistic infection or sometime through hiv test when they go for job or sometimes through perodical medical tests. Very few people are aware about the ars symptoms and because of this they come to know about hiv only when they develop some major symtoms and doctors diagnose them....

Thanks for the fast response. Is it possible to suspect HIV just through a normal blood test if HIV was in your body for 2+ years?
