Dear Doctors,
About 9 weeks ago I was at a bachelor party where a stripper was giving lap dances and I got one. While she was giving the lap dance, I grabbed he boobs and may have sucked on them for a moment. My friends have told me that nothing else happened. I am going out of my mind right now. I can't sleep, eat or function normally for that matter. I am running so many different scenarios through my mind. Is it possible to contract HIV from grabbing boobs and possibly sucking on them? What if I had some small cuts on my hand or in my mouth? So much time has passed that the memory is getting fuzzy and I cant recall everything.
I know these questions have been asked before, but I need some reassurance. I had blood drawn on Tuesday which puts me at 9 weeks and 2 days past exposure. I'm hopeful to get those results shortly.
Did I put myself and family at risk? Thank you in advance for your answer.

Called CDC yesterday because my anxiety was getting the better of me. The guy on the phone basically said I need to wait until 3 months for conclusive result. I asked about the contact with breast and they are saying the breast milk is definitely a transmission route.
I am on anxiety medication now trying to deal with the stress. Any suggestions as to what I can do to make it through the next few weeks. ?

It is amazing how my mind can work. For the first four weeks after the party, I never though about it. I figured, no sex, no risk. Then the fatigue set in and the downward spiral began. The anxiety has been building and building and now I am pretty much convinced that the test will come back positive. I know many out there that read this think I am crazy and suffering from OCD. I hope for my sake that they are right.

My fear is contracting HIV and ruining my family's life. I have a wife and child that I may have put at risk and I can't stand the thought of hurting or betraying them. I have leveled with my wife and now I just need the test to come back. I am writing on the forums to gain some peace of mind. The anxiety of waiting for the result is horrible. The fact that we had been drinking (not to the point of blacking out or anything) leaves me wondering if I did anything else. I have three friends that were there and have told me that I didn't go anything stupid. I guess I am just paranoid. This has basically taken over my life.
You can only get HIV sexually from unprotected vagainal or anal sex. Not from oral sex or from masterbating someone.
Is it pretty much a given that if you don't penetrate an individual with fingers, tongue or penis, you cannot get HIV? Have you heard of anyone contracting HIV through means other than pentrative vaginal/anal/oral sex?
