Subtype/CFR A/E

Teak, is it correct that all current ELISA tests test for all subtypes, including CFR A/E?

With your knowledge and all, since all of my tests have been negative(most recent bio-rad HIV 1/o/2 plus OEIA) at 19 weeks, is there any reason to test further? I only say because of my fungal throat infection(not usual in healthy people) and some neuropathy. I am
being extra cautious because I do not want to harm my wife with unprotected sex. Is there any reason besides the usual that I would not be conclusive?  With what you have seen, what kind of differential diagnosis could you point to? My doctor is at a loss, I think I need another opinion locally. Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks for the information on subtypes/testing. Got my negative 19 week ELISA today, will take as conclusive and further investigate my ongoing fungal infection if throat. Take care and thanks for putting up with all of us.
