Swollen Painful lymph node in the right groin

Dear Sir,
Two months ago, I had a very short oral with a prostitute (active), less then a minute. She washed well before I licked her. This was the only sex activity I had with here.
Two weeks after that I had sex with my girlfriend, Today my girlfriend has swollen painful lymph node in her right groin, it is about half inch or more. This is the only sign she has.

Is there a possibility that I caught hiv from the short oral encounter and I then transmitted it to my girlfriend?

Thanks,

Lymph nodes can swell for numerous reasons. Oral sex is NOT a risk for acquiring HIV. You would not have acquired HIV from the encounter you describe. If your GF is bothered by her swollen lymph node, then she should consult her physician for an examination.

it doesn't matter. You can't base an assessment or diagnosis of HIV from symptoms. Besides, unless one of you were infected with HIV previously to your little oral romp, you could NOT have acquired HIV and then passed it on to her. You are suffering from anxiety and guilt, not HIV.

Thanks for you prompt response.

If it is a sign of HIV early infection, how would it be?
Painful?
Size?
Can be only single node, or it has to be at different locations?
Can it be the only hiv symptom?

Thanks
