i had a "theoretical risk" situation on April 20th, and I am just now experiencing symptoms like coughing and soreness on one side of my throat but like the outside more like my neck and going up to my ear is sore and I'm having trouble swallowing and even speaking. Like when I cough it hurts the side of my neck too. I have also had a headache every single day for two months. And I recall when I was on vacation two months ago my neck was so sore that I couldn't even look in either direction it was horrible and it lasted like four days or so. I was checked out by a nurse Yesterday and she said my right lymph node is definitely swollen as well. I had an oraquick oral swab test done mainly for peace of mind Last week and it was negative and I know enough time has passed since the risk but I am really terrified still... I had a blood test done yesterday too just to be sure but I obviously haven't gotten my results back yet. Are these kinds of symptoms related to HIV and would I even be having symptoms a little over three months later?
Also when I took the oraquick oral swab test they asked me if I had eaten or drank anything within thirty minutes and I told them I drank a soda on the way there so they told me to wait until thirty mins had passed but then they were like oh never mind it's been long enough.... I don't know if it was actually thirty mins that had passed I mean it seemed like only fifteen or twenty but either way would that change the outcome of the test? It says on the website it has up to an 8% chance of being wrong and that seems pretty high to me I'm a little leery of it
