Teak, Please help!!

I asked the doctors on the expert forum on my risks for hiv, but I am still worried!! It's been about 6 weeks now since my last possible exposure. I've had a sinus infection for almost a month now and I have not been to the GP. I am scared to go because of what I think they might tell me. I read somewhere that sinus infections usually are seen more often in people with hiv. Do you think this could be due to ARS? Due sinus infections typically occur this soon after infection? or are they usually seen after you have been diagnose with hiv for a while? I have had to negative Rapid HIV tests at 3 weeks and 5 weeks. The doc said he doesn't think it is ars, but I am still concerned because I have had loose bowel movements and a headache with occasional sneezing and stuffy nose. Is sneezing common in ars? My glands swelled up but went down after taking ant-inflammatories. My vision also seems blurry and my eyes are dry and itchy. The doc said I would need no further testing after 6 weeks, shoud I trust this advice. I plan to go get my 6 week test done soon...the test are just so expensive and I have already spent about 200 on the tests. Thanks!

Thank you for your advice! All of my symptoms came on about 3 weeks after my possible exposure. I also had a white cottage cheese like coating on my tongue and my lymph nodes swelled pretty badly, but went down and other symptoms continued. I also get occasional night sweats and twitching in my palms. I can still feel nodes under my jaw..but I also keep poking them and them seem to keep getting bigger when I do this. I will be going to the doctor this week to get checked out and hopefully get some medicine to help. I am hoping that this is not HIV, I have learned my lesson and am praying for a miracle. I will be going to get tested again next week or sometime this week.

No ARS is not usually under your arm pits. None of your symptoms are indictative of ARS. Your 3 month test will be conclusive.

I know you said sinus infections have nothing to do with hiv, but I also have a rash that appears under my armpits but dissappears withing the day after using lotion. If I don't shave it doesn't come back either. My sinus infection came on, then three of four days later I got a soar throat. Followed by a yeast infection a few days later, my ears hurt and I have a headache that continues! Do ars symptoms usually last this long? Mine started about a month ago..but keep coming back in one way or another. Post nasal drip won't go away..neither will the headache. I'm so worried! Do ars rash usually appear under armpits?

Sneezing and sinus infection has nothing to do with HIV. I don't know where you read that is has a correlation but that is not true. A 3-month test will be conclusive.
