We have to listen to the doctors. From my understanding HIV is spread through blood on blood contact. If you had unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse then there is a risk, different situations being higher risks. Or from blood transfusion or needle sharing. If these didn't happen you should not worry about HIV because it is impossible for you to have it.

Why stress yourself out when science proves otherwise?

Seek professional mental help for your phobias. Asking everyone what their risk was has nothing to do with your non risk issue.

* Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to action by MedHelp. Conclusive negative results or a no-risk situation will be based up the criteria MedHelp’s doctors. Action will be taken as follows:
    * After excessive posting, a warning will be issued by MedHelp
    * Continuing to post regarding the negative result / no risk situation will result in a 3 day suspension
    * Continuing to post upon your return will result in a permanent ban.

There are lot of people here who have low or no risk. there are people who are worried even for exposures like kiss or bare body touch. the reason they r here is anxiety.

If they do not develop any symptoms they get over it and move on. But it is difficult to get over if symptoms are there.

Symptoms are not to be disregarded. There is some physical basis for it. I do not quite believe in psychosomatic condition.

What's wrong in getting relief learning about other's stories??

You were told to quit. You didn't have a risk.

No antibiotics will not have an effect on your test results. If you had a compromised immune system you wouldn't be asking that question you would know.

nah that would not compromise your immune system, if u have a negative result its unlikely to change if u have one done at 3 months!

I was on antibiotics two weeks ago would that do anything? Otherwise how would the immune system be compromised?

Obtain you conclusive negative test at 3 months. Condoms are cheap and would have prevented all these worries.

Unless you're immune system is compromised your 6 week negative proves you don't have HIV.
