Unless you're immune system is compromised your 6 week negative proves you don't have HIV.
Obtain you conclusive negative test at 3 months. Condoms are cheap and would have prevented all these worries.
I was on antibiotics two weeks ago would that do anything? Otherwise how would the immune system be compromised?
Thanks Teak, I will. I am staying away from alcohol. I am glad to hear you are doing well after all that commosion. WTF
nah that would not compromise your immune system, if u have a negative result its unlikely to change if u have one done at 3 months!
No antibiotics will not have an effect on your test results. If you had a compromised immune system you wouldn't be asking that question you would know.
So what are yall up to on this Friday night?
It's saturday morning here and I am lunch hunting. :)
Hmmm, lunch hunting? I am interested as to how you have access to the internet and still have to hunt for lunch? Interesting.
hi,
Congrats on your result. would you mind sharing your exposure? btw, does alcohol affect the tests?? I am daily on alcohol nowadays to beat the stress.
thanks,
You were told to quit. You didn't have a risk.
There are lot of people here who have low or no risk. there are people who are worried even for exposures like kiss or bare body touch. the reason they r here is anxiety.
If they do not develop any symptoms they get over it and move on. But it is difficult to get over if symptoms are there.
Symptoms are not to be disregarded. There is some physical basis for it. I do not quite believe in psychosomatic condition.
What's wrong in getting relief learning about other's stories??
Seek professional mental help for your phobias. Asking everyone what their risk was has nothing to do with your non risk issue.

We have to listen to the doctors. From my understanding HIV is spread through blood on blood contact. If you had unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse then there is a risk, different situations being higher risks. Or from blood transfusion or needle sharing. If these didn't happen you should not worry about HIV because it is impossible for you to have it.
Why stress yourself out when science proves otherwise?
