Testing Method

Story
Mar 07- Oral Fellatio performed on me
June 07- First HIV Test by Elisa Method- Result- Negative
Aug 07- Nicked from barber
Sep 07- Repeat test- Elisa-Non Reactive
Nov 07- Repeat test at HIV Clinic. Cappillus Method- Result Negative( Fear of needle *****)
May 28th, 08- Repeat test after 6 months and 8 days- SPOT Test- Negative

There is nothing else that has happned with me. I have a negative report at hand. But what i wanted to know is that if SPOT testing is equally sensitive as an ELISA. Do I need to repeat a test under any circumstances? please do help

Then why do they say that Rapid/ Spot test methods aren't accurate?

Teak, what I want to know is that, is a SPOT TEST method equally sensitive and specific regardless to the kind and nature of exposure? please help. i want to put this behind and know if I can rely upon my reports.

Dude, what is wrong with you? I understand and repsect the amount of your knowledge. what difference does it make to your life to answer the question isntead you continue being rude. my only q to you supposedly if i were to tell you i had a unprotected anal and vaginal exposure. would you consider my test report as confirmatory? are rapid spot test as accurate and sensitive as an elisa. does one need to confirm a negative rapid test report with an elisa

You didn't ask a question on unprotected vaginal or anal sex now did you? You were given your assestment on the exposure you asked. You didn't have a risk.
