Thanks in advance for your help

Hi,

I was wondering if people could help relax my fears over an encounter I had with a friend of mine who I know to be HIV positive. She knows I am very worried about contracting anything, as we've been friends for years and have chatted about this in the past. We went out to dinner and had a bit to drink and ended up hooking up - there was no actual sex (was too worried) but she gave me a massage (both of us naked) and we both touched each other. She had touched me after touching herself so there was definitely contact between her secretions and my penis!

I've read many of the posts answered by the Docs and they seem to say that there is zero risk for HIV or any other STD, which while reassuring I can't help but think that there must be some significant risk from her transferring some vaginal secretions onto my penis. Am I really reading things correctly when they say there is NO risk from this - I've been worried sick and am not sure if I should go and get post-exposure HIV treatment (it only happened 2 days ago - I can't stop thinking about it and know I am still in the window period). And what if she maybe has HSV2 as well as HIV....Argh, I can't help but think I've got something. Is there really NO risk from the above??? Even for HSV or HIV?

Many thanks in advance for any help,

Steve

Thanks for commenting Teak,

Do you mean no risk for ALL STDs, even with vaginal lubrication in contact with my genitals??

Thanks,

Steve
