4 weeks test is conclusive , as per my knowledge , it wont change.
Hi maash
Well, my doctor gave me some medicine for it. Antifungal and antiviral for herpes. He agrees there is fungus and that my tongue is swollen. I never had my mouth like that before...
My exposure was kissing an older gay man, almost sure to be HIV+ and with sores in my mouth during the deep kiss. I know most people on the internet will say it's not risk or net zero risk but with all the symptoms I have had I am very worried.
I have had diarrhea, sore throat with a white dot, weight loss (6kg), body pain, fatigue, headaches, night sweats, etc, etc.
I want to believe I had no risk but I don't know anything about this man's mouth, if he had recent dental work or blood.
Do you know or have data about combo tests negative at 4 weeks changing later?
Thanks
1) white-yellowish coating on my tongue - Its not Thrush ( Stop googling to get images)
2)my tongue also has like red bumps at the back of my tongue - Not only you everyone will have - Thats called TASTEBUDS
3) scalloped edges and like canker sores in the edges back deeper inside - Everyone having this , i really dont know what it was, it is there always in our body , because few years ago , i thought it was cancer and went to doctor,
What was your exposure first? 28 Combo is very much assuring test.
