still worried

I am a straight guy but on December 19 2009, I had a one off oral encounter with a guy I didn't know. I got some semen in my mouth i think.

I had a blood test after 95 days that tested for anti-bodies/antigens. It came back negative.

The reason I had the test was because I had just got a nasty cold which was accompanied by swollen nodes in my neck,. I was and still am worried that it was ARS related.

My questions are is it normal to get ARS symptoms at three months?

Do my symptoms sound like those of ARS?

How much confidence can I take from my test at over three months?

No you don't get ARS at 3 months and besides that you didn't have a risk and you have a negative test which was conclusive.

Thanks for your answer and reassurance but there is some risk with oral sex so am interested in answers to the ARS questions.

Your first two questions are irrelevant because you did not participate in any sexual activity that would have put you at risk for HIV transmission, and 3 month results are conclusive.
