Protected Handjob with saliva on condom

Dear all, I would like the opinion of expert people in this forum concerning the following exposure:
I received a handjob from a prostitute. I know there is no risk from hand-to-genital contacts, and even to be extra-safe I asked her to give the handjob protected with a condom.
What is worriyng me is that she did not seem to be very careful since sometimes did penetrative sex with clients even without protection. I am sure she put the condom on me with her mouth, and during the operation I could realize that the latex side with saliva was in contact with my penis tip. I could see from official sources that infections from saliva, for instance in blowjobs without protection, represent some risk for hiv and other STDs.
In this case, Doc's response was that the HIV risk was not zero but very close to it. Docs in this place always say that NO RISK from saliva contact. Is this related to kissing or also to the mucous membrane at the tip of the penis?. Please, I would like your opinion on this. should anyone be HIV tested after an exposure such as that?.
Thank you very much

A protected handjob is certainly not a risk for HIV

You do not need testing. At no time were you at risk of contracting HIV.

Thanks docgonzo for your comments and suggestion, you can be sure I will follow them, even if one does safe sex, sometimes there are unexpected events that can cause a lot of stress.

To start with, I'm no expert.  But what you're describing is surely one of the many things that happens during regular intercourse with a sexual partner.  It's not like you had unprotected intercourse with her for 45 minutes etc etc.  Things like this will happen all the time with or with a prostitute and, if it were that easy to pick up HIV, the virus would be FAR MORE prevalent than it is...  Surely?

I suggest two things:

1. Get tested to ease your mental state
2. NEVER have sex with a prostitute again, as things like this (not necessarily in this exact way) will undoubtidly happen again and you'll end up stressing yourself all over again.

Thanks nursegirl, but I have been worried about this last 10 days, I do not understand why the Doc in the expert forum was so conservative saying 'the risk was close to zero, but not probably zero'. So, I do not need testing?

First of all, saliva does not contain the virus with any regularity (maybe with the presence of blood, but not saliva alone)

Secondly...saliva actually contains enzymes that INHIBIT the virus.

A protected handjob is not a risk in any shape or form!  Period.

You have NOTHING to worry about.
