Weird rash inside mouth?

I posted a few weeks earlier about my problem, to sum it up I have a one time unprotected vaginal sex with an ex of unknown status. I thought I had some ARS symptoms, thus I went for an hiv test at 6.5 weeks. The results were negative. However, for the past 3 weeks now I've had weird rash like reddish patches on the inside of upper lips which have small sores, a few of them with white tops, (they look like tiny developing cankersores), and are not that painful. I don't know if they are related to ARS, but am starting to worry again. I've been very stressed the weeks leading up to my test and results, but my stress has much subsided for the past week. I had a large cankersore beside one of the patches that was present before the rashes started, but the cankersore has healed, while the rash persists. Is it possible that i'm a late seroconverter? What are the chances of it being ARS? Could it be yeast infection? (Please help!) I went to the walk in clinic and the doctor there told me it's probably just cankersores. However, I mentioned they have persisted for almost 2 weeks, and she gave me an anti-viral cream.

Thank you so much for your reply!! I know that Dr.s on this forum haven't seen people who have negative tests at 6 weeks turn positive, however this mouth rash is beginning to really stress me out! i went to the clinic again today and the Dr there told me that its definitely not yeast infection. It's been more than 9 weeks since the possible exposure. Can you tell me when do mouth rashes usually develop if it were indeed hiv related?
