HIV?? SPECIAL CASE OF ORAL SEX

Hi Teak/everyone,
I have been reading your posts. You have NO IDEA how much of a positive impact you are having in the lives of many people around the world.

I am in complete anxiety right now, and currently diagnosed wih high blood pressure, because of a regrettable encouter of multiple oral sex I had a month ago.
(please don't stop reading now because I said "oral sex"...I know you've said so many times that it poses no HIV risk, but please just read on...this is a little different).

I went to a bathouse. First, I got oral sex from a man; while in the act, i noticed he used his teeth to give me a few mild "bites" (I guess trying to stimulate me...it wasn't a hard bite at all...no injury or pain whatsoever on my penis). The encounter lasted for about 3 minutes, and then I came. Next, I walked into a small room with about 7 men...it was some sort of orgy...one of them came and gave me oral sex for about another minute (I dont know whether he had given someone oral sex just before me or not)...and then, after him, another person have me another oral for about 2 minutes. Finally, I walked into the steam room and had one more round of oral from a guy about 40 yrs old.

Two weeks later, I noticed a swelling in my groin. I didnt have any other symptoms then. Then, a week after that, I noticed about two bean-sized (literally about 1.5cm diameter) lump in my neck on the right side...but, then again, I had been poking myself constantly looking for swollen lymph nodes. :-(. The swelling in the groin is really obvious (even the doctor confirmed it was a swollen lymph node, but wasnt worried about the one in the neck). About two days later (this is now 3.5 weeks after exposure), I noticed two little sores on my tongue on the lateral border. The sore was reddish, with a white border, and then suddenly the border started expanding and the sores were apparently healing in a matter of days. At this point, I decided to go do an HIV test (3.5 weeks after exposure), and it turned out negative. The day after my test, and with the sore area growing out and healing at the same time, I had a fever for two straight nights. I still have the fever (it comes and goes, but it's usually not the knock-you-out type of fever, and I still go to work and live my normal life, except for the huge anxiety and fear that is wrecking me; I can't even concentrate on anything...I am in soo much fear...I have lost apetite, and I also noticed that I have lost about 4kg of weight in the past month. Finally, two days ago, I had a few rashes on my face; they look like regular acne (about 5 of them), maybe stress-induced, but then again I heard the HIV-seroconversion rashes are just like acne/pimples. I am in sooo much fear and anxiety; I can hardly sleep; I went to the doctor who took my blood and said he'd run some tests and let me know in a week...but he said I had serious high blood pressure, which I would attribute to the level of anxiety and stress that I may have contracted HIV from this encounter.

I have never had vaginal or anal sex before, whether as a receptive or giving partner. In fact, this bathouse experience is my first, but I am in soo much fear...especially since the symptoms keep showing one by one, week by week, and they all fit the HIV profile. Please advise me. I know you said oral sex is no risk, but evaluate my own case, with multiple partners in a space of an hour. I am dead scared. Please help!! What is my risk? Could I have HIV, or is it my mind. I have also taken your advise to get tested, but I know that a test result now (second in a row) is still not very conclusive because it's just 4 weeks. Please respond!! I am on the edge, and sooo nervous; my whole life is affected.

Hi Lizzie/Anyone,
Could you kindly respond to this? I'm just wodering. I don't mean to be one of those people who won't move on after repeated statements that they are not at risk. I am willing to move on :-), but I want to understand the risk from what I just mentioned: if (hypothetically) the guy in the orgy just had cum in his mouth from someone else right before giving me the oral? Isn't that just as risky? Cum has a huge viral load doesn't it? That is what scares me the most.

there is nothing "different" about your story.  oral sex is oral sex regardless of how many times you received it.

you had NO risk and do not need testing.

fyi...ars symptoms dont come one after another...week by week.  they come at once...2-4 weeks after infection.
