Will HPV cause False Positive Oraquick Rapid Test

hey there guys.. I know I said I wasnt going to be back, but I had a question that came to me today. At least its not an anxiety riddled question. Anyway, can anyone here tell me whether or not HPV will interfere and cause a false positive test result on an Oraquick HIV Rapid Test? I had the warts that started back around this time in 2009. They were treated and then left alone and I have now just about cleared them all. there might be a couple of them left, but I think my immune system has just about cleared them. My father had them before too and said he eventually cleared them, years ago. Anyway, I was afraid that the HIV test could mistaken them for HIV antibodies. Honestly, I probably already had HPV back in 2008 when I last tested because I havent had ANY sex with anyone since late 2006 or early 2007. So, the HPV was probably already there in 2008 when I last tested and it didn't cause any problems. Again, everyone, thanks for your help. Most of my anxiety has left and I am just going to go ahead and get tested in a little over 10 weeks. get it over with and be done with it. I hope someone can answer my question. Thanks!

thanks a bunch. That makes sense, because I can remember from my online reading about HPV back in 2009, was that most people have HPV at some time or another in their lives if they are/were sexually active. so, there would be lots of false positives if most people have HPV and the test was mistakenly picking them up. Thanks!
