Hi, I come to understand that the normal HIV window period is 3 months  but it also states that it will take 6 months.
But under what condition will it be 6 months? For etc Obese People? After 3 months later, if the person took the blood test during his or her medication period, will it be accurate?

Ok one last question......Vance mentioned about IV drug user and I was given a IV in my gum during my wisdom tooth surgery to make my mouth numb so is this counted as the IV drug user mentioned above?

antibiotics acts againts bacteria..they have no effect againts virus or antibody production..
you need to MOVE ON as u have a Conclusive result

Yes. What Vance told you. No medicine apart from what he has already listed in his initial post would affect your immune response to the HIV antibody formation. i.e. Your test result wouldn't be affected by it.

Hi Vance, Thanks a lot for your precious information shared. By the way, I took the blood test when i was on my medication for my wisdom tooth because i had a wisdom tooth surgery, so i guess it won't affect much? as i took both painkillers and some antibiotic

11 weeks is fine. See above for the people who might need to test after 3 months.

6 months is only used for people who have weak immune systems due to chemyo, anti-organ rejection drugs and IV drug users. All other people the time frame is 3 months.
