Worried about HIV

Dear Sir,

Basically I had unprotected vaginal sex with a 'gay' man on the weekend, we were both extremely drunk. He didn't ejaculate inside me but did so before he put his penis inside.  I am worried that if he was infected then a small amount of semen could have still been on the tip of the penis and entered my vagina. I also gave him oral sex but can't recall if this was before or after he ejaculated. I have never done anything like this before and had been drinking all day, this happened about 4am. It's something i never want to repeat again and feel disgusted with myself.

I know i need to wait 3.5 months before a test can be performed but i'm really worried and can't think of anything else, I was just wondering what the chances of infection are, I know you'll say get a test which I definitely will but I would like to know if my chances of being infected are slim or high. I'm reading about all the symptoms and starting to imagine that i have them. Please help,

Many thanks in advance.

You don't need ejaculation to transmit HIV. Had you used a condom you wouldn't have had an exposure.

Hello,

Many thanks for your really quick reply. I don't want to appear a pain but in your opinion do you reckon the chances are high even if he didn't ejaculate inside me, after he ejaculated he had his penis in me for about a minute. I know a virus can be transmitted really quick, it doesn't matter 10 seconds or a minute, I'm just so worried that's all.

Thanks again
