Worried about exposure with GHSV2

I have been seeing this girl since Jan 2022. We both got tested in Oct 2022 and didn't have any STD's. We have not being using protection. The last 2 times I saw her was on 26 Jan 23 and this was an unprotected exposed. The last time I saw here was on 17 Feb 2023. This time I used a condom for sex as something was off and I asked the girl if she had been with someone else and she didn't get me a straight answer. I get tested once every six months and tested on 21st Feb 2023- 26 days after my last unprotected exposure. I tested positive for GHSV2. I have only been with this girl so I am sure I caught this from her. The tests for HIV came back negative. Do I need to do another tests in a couple of weeks. As I didn't realize I had GHSV2. As I mentioned, I did use a condom correctly on 17th Feb 2023. Is there a chance of transmission with condom use? I did not have any active sores during that time. I am in Texas.

Test again after at least 28 days have passed - this is true regardless of whether you have HSV-2 or not.  HIV is not transmitted when a condom is used for intercourse.  If you want to ask more questions about your HSV-2 results/diagnosis, the herpes forum would be helpful.

As mentioned in my post I tested on 21st feb and it was negative. My question was regarding HIV transmission. I tested 26 days after my last unprotected exposure.
And thanks a lot for your answer
Yes, I read that, which is why I advised you to test again at least 28 days after your last unprotected exposure.

I wasn't clear about my herpes comment - that was meant to be a "just in case you also have questions re: herpes in addition to your HIV questions" comment.
As I mentioned. I tested at 26 days past exposure using a 4th generation test that tests for antibodies and antigens.
Do I need to test again?
28 days is the recommended time frame. You tested 2 days early. Your test is likely not going to change but is not considered conclusive until it has been 28 days.
