hiv test after 9 weeks negative but still having symptoms
hello Dr. i am so confused i did last week hiv test . its come back negative in around weeks but i am confused which test you done and what different hiv ag. p24+hiv-1/2 Ac. (combo) and hiv ACS. (1-2) i did test HIV Acs. totals (1,2) what is test is that same test or 3rd generation elica test please i am so confused still worried about my symptoms have a stomach gastric and feel swollen lymph nodes is that a related hiv symptoms or not and any chance to chage negative to positive relsult after three month .........i am very gratful if you give me answer .........thank you very much......
I'm glad you did not catch hiv after all those worries. But I have a few questions though, where did you get swollen nodes and are they still there despite your negative hiv test? I am worried cus I kinda going through the same situation right now. I took the test at 8 weeks and came back negative but still doubt if I am exposed to HIV because I develop lump nodes in my groin, under the jaw, and behind the left ear. :(
The nurse that told you its final is correct. You do not need further testing.

i got a test today 94 days after expose and result come back negative ...now i ma free of hiv or not and doubt in my negative result antibody test after 94 days ....my test has conclusive or i need more test .....nurse told me its final i dont have hiv ......thanx everyone to pray for me and gave me nice comment and suggestion ...teak, sambrown and vance.....

Thanx sam for game me reply but i am so confused i dont know which test thay done may be 3rd gen coz its hiv acs. test total 1/2 but now still worried coz having a symptoms lymph nodes in bihind ear feel some itchy skin sometimes and i am going to soon for three month test ...i have a 9.4 weeks test neg ....but still full worried .and stress .....

Hi san, your negative status at 9 weeks wont change, here in the uk we consider a 4th gen test to be 99.5 percent accurate at 6 weeks so yours at 9 weeks is about 99.9 percent, your stomach problems are more than likely down to nerves and anxiety, , put it to the back of your mind and move on with your life and test at 12 weeks if it makes you feel better but theres no need !!
Anyone give suggestion to me about this matter..coz i feel so nurvous and sceard ....today after 12 weeks i feel behind my ear lymph nodes ...its make me more stress and depress ...

thanx for reply but i really don't remember 2-3 minute condom take off or not but when i saw my penis that time no condom i saw the condom in bed .. i thought she took off and gave me handjob 3 minute then we finished expose ...after that i am so worried and confused about hiv ..then went to after 9.3 weeks clinic for test and test comeback negative but now 11.5 days still having a some symptoms ...stomach gastric and swollen nymphs i am so worried and stress.....could you please tell me its 9.4 weeks antibody test negative test conclusive or i need to further test ....help me please ...
Your 3 month post exposure test will be conclusive. I doubt you had an exposure if you were that intoxicated to remember I doubt seriously if you could have maintained a erection to have penetrative sex.
i was drunk and sex with older women whos hiv status is unknow i am so confused that time i used the condom but after 3 minute i lose my conscious dont remember 2 minute used condom or not i dont know its take off or not i am not sure ...and worried about my bad stupied things ...and went to clinic after 9.4 weeks and test hiv ACS. come back 0.16 negative but same day i got a flu like symptoms one day fever and cold flu and after night fever gone and flu after 5 days gone now having a gastic stomach problem and swollan lymph node behind the ear...i am so worried and stress about this on ..please help me . i am going soon after three month take a final test after three month ...my test after nine weeks going to change or not some one help me please....
