2 weeks later

hi, about 2 weeks ago I went to a massage parlor and had protected sex and I dont think the condom broke or if it did I didnt notice although the condoms were changed why I dont know. Issue is, I am not to educated on STD transmission and lately ive had a rough cough and diarrhea. I am mentioning this because I read on an online website (an hiv one) that it takes up to 2 weeks to start to show symptoms, if any are shown at all.

My question is, with what I wrote above how likely is it that I can get HIV? I was considering going to my doctor but im slightly hesitant to do so.

You would notice if the condom split unprotected sex feels different to protected sex.

Yeah man, youre ok as long as you always wear a condom and it doesnt break. HIV and other germs cant penetrate latex.

*sighs* thanks worried826, I like how you worded your words in laymans terms and even mentioned the changing of the condoms.  I feel a huge relief and the weathers been very cold lately so thats probably contributed to my paranoia.

Thanks!

You have no risk, you used a condom. If it broke you would have noticed it instantly in both feeling and sight.

Some sex workers will change the condom mid course or once you withdrawl they will change it before reinsertion.
