hiv scratch

Hello am very confused. I searched  in thebody. Helpline Vancouver . In medhelp but cant find it. My son plays with hiv infected neighbor . My son sometimes scratchs him so much that blood cames out. Any risk?  I dont want my son to.be infected . Please think much and answer. It will depend on my son's life

It is very fragile virus and with seconds after leaving its host, it becomes unstable (loses ability to infect). Nobody ever got HIV in this way so you really don't have to worry about this!

So hiv negative guy scratches hiv positive and still no risk? Any one else can also reply me?

No risk. HIV is transmitted by unprotected penetrative anal or vaginal sex, sharing works with IV drug users, mother to child.
